Fancy Folds Blog Hop: Peek-a-Boo Slider Card

Hello and Welcome to another Fancy Folds Blog Hop! We are an International team of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators, who have come together to showcase different folding projects each month. I'm from London, Ontario, Canada and today our design team is excited to showcase the Peek-a-Boo Slider card!

If you're already hopping then you just came from the Talented Gina Connor's blog. If you're just joining, no problem! Just use the "Next" Button below and hop all the way around!

So... I have actually done this style of fold before... however it was a portrait card and not landscape. It you would like to check it out, click HERE. As for my card today, I followed the instructions out lined in a video tutorial by Dawn Griffith. I'll admit that it does seem like a tricky and complicated card at first, but if you take your time, stop and pause the video as you go, you'll get it. Once you see how it all comes together and why, you'll be good to go. Just one small note: in Dawn's video she uses a 2" punch, but I used a 2-1/4" punch to allow my greetings to fit. Luckily it still works with all the other measurements.

My card today showcases the NEW: "Share What You Love" Bundle available to customers RIGHT NOW! This bundle is featured in the up coming 2018-2019 Idea Book & Catalogue, set to be released on June 1st! It's beautiful: the colours are beautiful, the paper is beautiful, the accessories are beautiful! It's just BEAUTIFUL!

My colour combo is Mint Macaron (Coming back in the NEW catalogue!) (cardstock, ink), Tranquil Tide (ink, baker's twine), and Whisper White (cardstock).

The cardstock is embossed with the Lovely Floral 3D Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (say that 3 times fast... yikes!), which is included in the "Gotta Have it All" Bundle. The little flowers in the back ground and the sayings are from the "Love What You Do" stamp set, and those beautiful flower and leaf embellishments are actually cut from the "Share What You Love" DSP (Gotta Have it All Bundle)

Well, thank you for hopping in, I hope you like my Peek-a-Boo Slider Card. Up Next is the Talented Satomi Wellard. Enjoy!
