Fancy Folds Blog Hop: Z-Fold Spinner Card

Hello and Welcome to another Fancy Folds Blog Hop! We are an International team of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators, who have come together to showcase different folding projects each month. Today our design team is excited to showcase the Z-Fold Spinner Card!

If you're already hopping then you just came from the Talented Gina Connor's blog. If you're just joining, no problem! Just use the "Next" Button below and hop all the way around!

I was really excited when I saw this months feature fold! I have seen a Z-Fold before but NEVER with a spinner! After watching the following video, I was ecstatic that it was SO easy to do!

So, I really... really...  REALLY tried to resist the "Magical Day Bundle". I really did! I was adamant that I didn't need it, - wouldn't have a use for it, - and I didn't pre-order it... but after seeing many adorable creations... I gave in! It's just too cute to resist. So as soon as it arrived I knew I just had to use it!

The colours I used for my card are: Soft Sky (cardstock & ink), Smokey Slate (cardstock, ink & blends), Whisper White (cardstock), Daffodil Delight (cardstock & blends), Real Red (ink & blends), Old Olive (blends), Pumpkin Pie (light blend) Crumb Cake (dark blend), Ivory (blend) and Basic Black (momento ink).

To colour my characters, of course I HAD to use my blends! I absolutely LOVE them and they make colouring SO easy and enjoyable! The outlines are a little thin on these guys and I had a couple of little oops... but nothing to noticeable.

So for this card I decided to do a circle that spins. I know the video shows a symmetrical image, and I did that in my practice card (check out my video of it on my FB Business Page, HERE), But I wanted to use images that weren't symmetrical and the circle was a perfect solution.  So on one side of my circle is the Dragon and on the other, is the Knight. Once they open the card, the message: "I hope your day is Magical" is revealed. I think the sentiment is perfect for this card!

Well, I hope you like my take on the Z-Fold Spinner Card, Check out my video below, to see my card in action!

Up Next is the Talented Satomi Willard in Japan! Enjoy the rest of the hop and Happy Creating!
