Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop: Painted Harvest

Hello and Welcome to another Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop! This week's featured stamp set is: Painted Harvest!

If you're already hopping, then you've just come from the Talented Mike Funke's Blog. If you're just joining, No Problem! Start here and follow the buttons below!

So I really wanted to create a nice fall or Thanksgiving themed project for you today, but I couldn't... I tried, but It felt weird. The Canadian Thanksgiving has been over for weeks, It was snowing today, I've started my Christmas shopping and I've been crafting Christmas for eons now, so my crafting conscience was like: "nice try, not happening... fall is over". So instead I just created a regular, no theme card, and I'm actually quite happy with it.

My colour combo today is Pool Party (cardstock & ink), Lemon Lime Twist (cardstock), Tranquil Tide (ink) and Crumb Cake (cardstock).

I also used Versamark ink of the leaves in the background and a piece of Foil Frenzy speciality DSP for the shiny border around my card.

Thanks for hopping in. Next up is the Talented Bronwyn Eastley's Blog. Enjoy the rest of the hop!

  1. I have to laugh - our thanksgiving is this week but I still couldn't make a fall-themed card! (Maybe it's because it feels like summer here). But it's nice to see this set used with other colors. Certainly shows that this is a year-round set!

  5. Lovely colors and details. Everything looks so crisp and I really like how that little bit of metallic DSP sneaks out.
