Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop: Merry Little Labels

Hello and welcome to another Artisan Design Team Blog Hop. This week we are featuring the stamp set: Merry Little Labels.

If you're already hopping, then you've just come from the Talented Maike Ulbrich's Blog. If you're just joining, No Problem! Start here and Hop around with the button below!

Have you seen the Merry Little Label stamp set yet? It's really nice and the possibilities are endless. It's a great set to quickly stamp out a bunch of Christmas tags for those busy crafters, but also a great set to create some amazing decorative tags for those with a little more time.

Today I'm sharing, one way, you can take your Merry Little Label stamps beyond the tag. I have created a gift bag using the Gift Bag Punch Board. I measured and cut out my cardstock for the bag size I wanted, but before punching it, I repetitively stamped the "No Peeking" across it. I love how perfectly the stamp image fits together with it's own stamp image! Does the sentence even make sense? LOL!

On the front of my bag, I created a detail tag, allowing the recipient to know that it's come from the Northpole. I mounted it onto a DSP flap that goes over the top of the bag and is held close with a clip. On the back, I created a clean and simple tag, allowing me to put the recipients name on the back.

Thanks for hopping in today. I hope you enjoyed seeing how you can do clean and simply tags, elaborate tags and not a tag at all! Happy creating everyone! Up next is the Always Talented Mercedes Weber!

  4. That sentence makes perfect sense because I did notice how wonderfully the stamped images fit together! I never think of using label images this way--a terrific idea.
