Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop: Stampin' Blends

Hello and welcome to another Artisan Design Team Blog Hop. This week we are featuring... THE ALL NEW STAMPIN' BLENDS! (I'm so excited about them!)

If you're already hopping, then you've just come from the Talented Maike Ulbrich's Blog. If you're just joining, No Problem! Start here and Hop around with the button below!

So, if you haven't heard, Stampin' Up! has released it's own brand of alcohol markers (squeal!) These premier alcohol markers, Stampin’ Blends are high-quality, dual-tip markers that come in 12 of Stampin’ Up!’s exclusive colors, each with a light and dark shade. Maybe you don’t think of yourself as an artist, but you don’t need to be because these markers make it super easy to blend colors and create gorgeous works of art!

For today's hop, I was asked to use the Smitten Mittens bundle along with the Pink Pirouette, Rich Razzleberry and Pool Party Stampin' Blends. I have to admit that this one was a challenge, a BIG challenge... but I think, I finally came up with something that I like. It was really tough to craft Christmas without the more traditional colours.

Today, I'm sharing a gift card holder. It starts out as a cute little folded up package, but then you open it up, to reveal two warm, little mittens holding a gift card. How perfect is this gift card for this holder?

I used the new Stampin' Blends to colour in my die cuts. For the large fancy mittens, I die cut them out first and then coloured them. For the snowflakes, I stamped them in Rich Razzleberry ink and then coloured and die cut them.

Thanks for hopping in today, I hope you enjoy the rest of the hop. Up next is the Talented Mercedes Weber! Happy Creating.
