Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop: Sharing Sweet Thoughts

Hello and welcome to another Artisan Design Team Blog Hop. This week we are featuring the Ronald McDonald House Charities stamp set: Sharing Sweet Thoughts.

If you're already hopping, then you've just come from the Talented Maike Ulbrich's Blog. If you're just joining, No Problem! Start here and Hop around with the button below!

Have you seen this adorable set? It's at the back of the catalogue and can sometimes be missed. This set is great on it's own, but it's also a perfect addition to the "Jar of Love" stamp set and Everyday Jar Framelits.

Today I'm sharing a shaker card created with the "Sharing Sweet Thoughts" stamp set. I absolutely love the bugs, branches and butterflies available in this set, as this is my life right now. I have 2 little boys full of wonder and awe. We are constantly filling a jar with leaves and branches and catching little creatures to observe.

The greeting: Always here for you was a big inspiration for this card. Even though one bug is captured the other one is staying by their side... Aww. That's when I decided to make a shaker card; have one bug IN the jar (shaker space) and one on the out side. I love how it turned out.

I decided to add even more dimension to my card, by popping up the bug and branch within the shaker card. I was able to do this by using the Foam Adhesive Strips for the border/body of my shaker card and then the Mini Stampin' Dimensionals for the items inside. It works because the strips are taller then the dimensionals.

Did you notice what I used inside my shaker card? leaves... Leaves from the Boxwood Wreath Embellishments! How perfect is that!?!

Thanks for hopping in for our Artisan Hop. Up next is the Talented Mercedes Weber. Enjoy today's hop and Happy Creating as always.
