Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop: Colourful Seasons

Hello and welcome to another Artisan Design Team Blog Hop. This week we are featuring the beautiful and diverse bundle: Colourful Seasons!

If you're already hopping, then you've just come from the Talented Maike Ulbrich's Blog. If you're just joining, No Problem! Start here and Hop around with the button below!

So I just have to say that I LOVE this bundle! Love, Love, Love, LOVE! The leaves... the branch... the flowers... the snowflakes... OH! and the greetings! Swoon... the greetings... There is not a single image that I won't use in this set, and that's just the stamps. The dies are equally amazing: co-ordinating framelits, detailed leaves and snowflakes, tree branch and one - awesome -adirondack chair! If you're looking for a bundle with variety and unlimited possibilities, This is IT!
For today's hop I created some ornaments. One for the Christmas/ Winter season and one for the everyday occasions. These came together super easy with the help of the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets. I simply adhered my Designer Series Paper sheets to the adhesive sheets before stamping or die cutting them. Once I was ready, I just simply ran them through my big shot, like a regular sheet of cardstock and Voila! a die cut, all ready to be stuck down. One little tip: for best adhesion, make sure to clean your ornament's surface before starting.

To sparkle up my ornaments (because everything needs a little bling), I poured Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter inside the ornaments and shook them. You don't need any adhesive for this part, as the glitter automatically clings to the side. You can choose to leave a little bit of glitter in the bottom or dump the excess back into the container, it's up to you. If the glitter does settles over time, just shake it and it will, once again, cling to the side.  And incase you're wondering...Yes, by the time you finish your ornaments, you will be sparkly too.

Thanks for stopping in today. I hope you like my ornaments created with the Colourful Season Bundle. Up next is the Talented Mercedes Weber. Enjoy the rest of the hop and Happy Creating!

  8. I love using the adhesive sheets--but I would not have thought of using them on ornaments! Yours are terrific--and we all need to be extra sparkly every so often!
