Stamp Review Crew: Nailed It!

Hello and Welcome to another Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop! This week's featured stamp set is Nailed It!

If you're already hopping, then you've just come from the Talented Sue Plote's Blog. If you're just joining, No Problem! Start here and follow the buttons below!

So... funny story... sort of. I didn't realize the "Nailed It" hop was... well... now. For some reason I had it in my head that it was later in May. Soooo... When I went and check the hop list for this weekend, I quickly realized my mistake: I lent my Nailed It Bundle to one of my downline and had yet to get it back! Oops!

Well, luckily my procrastination skills have saved the day again. It just so happens, that I created this card, A LONG TIME AGO, and I never got around to posting it. Yeah! See... sometimes it's beneficial to procrastinate. LOL

I actually created this card for one of my downline meetings. Not only were we learning this fancy fold (Center Step Fold), but I was also sharing this NEW stamp set, as I had just received it from OnStage Ottawa... yep, I created it way back!

My colour combo is Whisper White (cardstock), Real Red (cardstock and marker), Basic Black (cardstock, ink and baker's twine), Smokey Slate (cardstock, marker and ink, and Daffodil Delight (marker).

To add a little extra detail to my card, I used the Fine Tip glue and covered the yellow sections of my screwdrivers. The glossiness adds a bit of dimension and really makes the image pop.

Thank you for hopping in today. Up next is the talented Yapha Mason! Enjoy the rest of the hop. Happy Creating!

  8. Ha, I was really admiring your artistic license with stamping one screwdriver upside-down, and then I read the sentiment. So cute!
