If you're already hopping then you just came from the Talented Maike Ulbrich's blog. If you're just joining, no problem! Just follow the button below and hop all the way around!

Today I'm sharing a couple of projects using the NEW, Up Coming Eastern Palace Suite. DID YOU KNOW, that you can get your hands on this suite starting May 1st! Message me, if you would like more details.

For my peek through, gift box, I used the retiring <insert sad face here> White Gift Boxes. In order to die cut through the actual box you have to take it apart. But don't worry, it's actually really easy. All you do is take your Heat Tool, heat up the seam and then gently pull it apart. Once you're done designing, just glue the seam back together.

After running it through my big shot, I applied my ink colour with a sponge dauber. You have to give it a few minutes to let the ink dry and you may have to apply it several times to get your desired intensity.

My card today is VERY similar to these... This one is a little bigger and I also added a window sheet backing to turn it into a shaker card. My shaker items are just sequins that I pulled apart from the Gold Sequin Ribbon.

Well, that's it for today. Thanks for stopping in and enjoy the rest of the hop. Up next is the talented Shannon Lane! Happy Creating!

  1. Love what you have created with this set Martha. Just a quick question, the die cut flower on the side of the box ... is that part of the set or from something else?
