Too early for Christmas Crafting, that is?
In my books...
I love christmas crafting, It's wonderful and cheery! Oh... and I can justify my purchases a lot easier when they're associated with Christmas! HAHA!
Today I'm sharing a Christmas card, while playing along with the Global Design Project: Sketch Challenge. I had so much fun playing along with their colour challenge last week, that I couldn't resist playing this week too
(especially since it's a really fun sketch!) #GDP050
My card today features the NEW stamp set: Merry Mice, which will be available on September 1st in the 2016 Holiday Catalogue. This year's Holiday Catalogue is jammed pack with amazing new products and Merry Mice was just one of MANY "must haves" for me. This catalogue has gotten my creative juices flowing again and that is really exciting! When my mojo disappears, I feel lost. So It's nice to feel like myself again!
My colour combo is White, Smokey Slate, Basic Gray, Real Red and Old Olive. To colour the adorable little mice, I used the following ink pads: Smokey Slate, Pink Pirouette, Real Red, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Pacific Point, Cucumber Crush and Emerald Envy, with my.... Wink of Stella Glitter Brush!!! What!?! Yep! You can use your clear Wink of Stella brush just like a blender pen! Simply squeeze your ink pad before opening, and dip your brush into the ink that was transferred to the lid! Voila Sparkly colouring!!! It's as simply as that! For best results use Black Stazon ink and water colour paper!
The greeting: Merry Christmouse, comes with the stamp set and is cut out with a framelit from the Bunch of Banners Framelits pack. My DSP is from the Little Foxy DSP stack.
Well, thanks for popping in! Make sure to check out the Global Design Project: Sketch Challenge post, to see other great inspirations and/or join in the fun!
