Dracula's Home Sweet Home!

Thanks for stopping in. I'm really excited to share today's project with you. It's a little preview of some of the new product coming out September 1st in the 2016 Holiday Catalogue!

Today I'm sharing a little treat package, created with the Home Sweet Home Bundle and the Cookie Cutter Halloween stamp set and coordinating punch.

The Home Sweet Home bundle is a stamps and framlits bundle, that has everything you need to create little treat box houses. From Rover's dog house to the haunted mansion down the road... AND (with a few modifications), Dracula's coffin!

Now I  must admit, that I was so excited to put this together, that I forgot to add any type of stamping or textures to the outside of the box... If I were to do one again I'd probably use the hardwood stamp on the outside to give it a little more dimension, but oh well... next time! For now I added a greeting banner from the Sweet Home Stamp  Set and a crow and pumpkin from the Cookie Cutter Halloween stamp set.

To keep my treat package closed, I wrapped some Halloween Night Baker's twine around it. It works perfectly because the box gets smaller towards the bottom, so it easily slips on and off. but you're not going to want to keep it closed... because inside is...

Dracula! On a bed of candy!
How fun is that!?! Dracula is from the Cookie Cutter Halloween set and was punched out with the coordinating Cookie Cutter Builder Punch. So much Fun! (Psst! There's a christmas themed set too!)

Dracula is glued onto a window sheet, that I cut out using the Home Sweet Home Framelits. The framelit actually cuts out 2 sides of the box at a time, so  I cut one out and trimmed it down to the one side, plus tabs. I then attached 1 tab to the inside of the box to create a hinge. Now you can flip open the layer and get the yummy candy!

Well there you have it! Dracula's home sweet home! Happy Creating!
