Today I've combined the old with the new. I've used the Flower Shop stamp set (old) with a new colour and new washi tape from the 2016-2017 Idea Book & Catalogue.
I embossed my flowers in gold embossing powder onto watercolour paper. (I took my picture with the gold shining.... I'm not sure that was the right thing to do.... hmmm...)
To colour them, I used an aqua painter, Flirty Flamingo and Daffodil Delight ink pads. Once my flowers were dry, using the same method, (but with Mint Macaron ink) I coloured the background. Once the background was dried, I stamped the water splotches from the stamp set: Timeless Texture, in Mint Macaron Ink.
To finish everything off, I added a couple strips of washi tape from the "Affectionately Yours" pack and mounted it onto Mint Macaron and Flirty Flamingo cardstock.
Thanks for hopping in today. Next up is the Talented Linda Callahan's Blog! Enjoy the rest of the blog and Happy Creating!
