Hello Everyone!!! I'm back, I'm back after a computer malfunction, a computer up-grade and a blog redesign, I'm back! I hope you'll bare with me for a bit... I went from a 6 year old computer, with it's original operating system and programs to brand new... and needless to say, I'm having to re-learn how to do things on my new computer, that I could do with my eyes closed on my old computer. I know they say change is good, but... seriously... Why did they take away iPhoto AND not include a watermark function or half the photo editing tools in the new Photos program? Sigh... moving on! Lol

Now, I must apologize... I usually try to stay within the parameters of the kit and it's supplies, but I just couldn't let this idea rest. So, if you want to create this project, along with the kit, you'll need a styrofoam wreath (which I found at the dollar store, SCORE!), pins, 1 elastic band, and Cherry Cobbler, Hello Honey, Mossy Meadow and Soft Suede Ink.

All the stamping was done on the cardstock included in the kit. I stamped the leafs and acorns on the treat bases and fussy cut them out. I just love the colours.
Now, I know what you're going to say... How did I make it? well... Stay tuned! I took step by step photos!!! I did!!! I just need to edit them and organize them into a tutorial for you... Arn't I nice to give you time to get your extra supplies ;) Lol
***UPDATED*** Check out the tutorial HERE!
Happy creating everyone!
This is awesome! This is right up there with the cake I made with the previous kit! My September kit is totally unopened.......maybe I need to open it now! This is beautiful. Definitely thinking out of the box! Looking forward to your tutorial.
ReplyDeletedefinitely a door stopper....LOVE it!!
ReplyDeleteMartha - this so amazingly well done. Way to think outside the box. That never even would have occurred to me. I love the way it wraps straight around the wreath and then all the curls end up on the outside edge. Just incredible!
ReplyDeleteI love this and am looking forward to your tutorial! What size is the styrofoam wreath you used?
