Project Life: Seasonal Snapshots

So I must admit that I've been giving my hobby a lot of thought lately... and as much as I thoroughly love paper crafting. I've come to realize that I spend a lot of time and money creating stuff that, ultimately, will be thrown out... kind of sad... So I've decided that I need to get back into scrapbooking.

I do love my digital scrapbooking, but - much like my photos, it's all on my computer, waiting for "someday" to be printed. So, I've decided to give Project Life another go.

My boys are growing quickly and I want them to have something to teasure and look back on.

Today, I'm sharing two pages that I created with the Project Life: Seasonal Snapshots box set. I love this set! It has Back to School, Fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Winter AND Christmas in one box! Totally versatile! Great for the scrapbook and the wallet ;)

I decided the 6" x 8" album would be perfect for me... I want my kids to treasure it one day... not wonder when it was going to be finish!

I added very little "extra's" (not in the box set) to my pages. For my first page, I added little strips of Cherry Cobbler and Pear Pizzazz (grabbed from my scrap pile!)  I also added Cherry Cobbler Mats. You don't need to add photo mats but in some cases it looks nice and pulls a page together. On my second page, I only added two strips of Island Indigo and a rhinestone! That's it!

I still have to add in my journaling on the first page, but I'm currently avoiding that dreaded moment! LOL
Thanks for stopping in and checking out my Project Life pages. I'll figure out a better way to photograph my pages in the future, but I hope these will do for now. Happy Creating!
