Creation Station Blog Hop: New Product, Free For All

It's the third Sunday of the month, which means: Creation Station - BLOG HOP TIME! The theme for today's hop is a free for all, using new product. New Catalogue = New Product!

If you're hopping through, then you just came from the talented Deborah Smart. If you're just starting, No problem! Just follow the butons and enjoy!

Today I'm sharing the new Watercolor Wings Bundle! This Bundle is beautiful, It contains a 15 piece photopolymer stamp set and 2 framelits. But here's the fun part... not only do the stamps and framelits coordinate with each other - (obviously...) but they also coordinate with the Butterfly Thinlits!!! How AWESOME is that!?! I already had the Butterfly Thinlits so this bundle was an obvious must have item for me!

The "Watercolour Wings" stamp set is neat as it's kind of a... "build your own butterfly" set.  It has 2 sizes of butterflies and each butterfly has 3 different stamp layers. On my card today, I used 2 stamp layers. I stamped the "details"and the "border" stamp images and omitted the "base" stamp image (does that make sense? Lol). I stamped 2 identical Butterflies and cut one out with the "Bold Butterfly Framelits" and the other out with the "Butterfly Thinlits" and then layered them. I love the 3D effect it creates!

Another new item on my card is the Silver Metallic Thread! (It also comes in Gold too!) I was pretty excited about this, and I suspect many other demo's were as well. When it says "Thread" it means as small as thread, my sewing is done using 2 strands of it! Click on my photo for a better view.

Well, thank you for joining me and enjoy the rest of the hop! Next up is the talented Kathy Kartak!

    1. Thanks Deborah! For the Butterfly, I used Pool Party CS and stamped the "details" stamp in Pool Party ink and the "border" stamp in Lost Lagoon ink. For my background, I used Crumb Cake & Pool Party 2nd generation stamping! :)
