Stamp Review Crew: Wondrous Wreath!

Hello and welcome to the 3rd monday of the month! Which means.... Blog hop time with the Stamp Review Crew! This week you'll hop through our blogs featuring projects we made with the Wondrous Wreath stamp set!

At first I wasn't really sure on what I was going to create... I thought about doing Christmas... but I'm all Christmas'd out. I thought about doing a Valentine wreath... but It's after Valentine's Day... So I challenged myself to do something springy, and... not a wreath.

So... what do you think?
It's a pretty clean and simple card, I'll admit, but I think it's simplicity adds to it's charm.

I used Cantaloupe Crisp, So Saffron, Pistachio Pudding and Soft Suede Ink. I added the flower stems in with my Pistachio Pudding marker.

Do you like my greeting? Did you know that it's all from the stamp set!?! It took a bit of some fancy masking, but I was able to extract this greeting from the greetings provided in the stamp set!

To finish my card off, I added pearls to my flowers and tied it off with some Pistachio Pudding, Thick Baker's Twine.

Thanks for stopping in and enjoy the rest of your hop. Next up is the talented Deb Currier or if you're hopping the other way the talented Heidi Baks.

  8. I'm always on the lookout for cards my girls can make for the assisted living center--this one is great! Isn't too pricey, but has enough going on to be fun for them to make. And they'll learn the masking technique :).
