Merry Halloween!?!

So, I have to apologize... I am sorry for flaking out on posting. I know I haven't been around lately... and to be honest with you... it's because I haven't felt like myself for some time. If you understand what I mean then you understand how hard it can be to get out of that funk. I'm still trying and I'm really pushing myself to get back to normal, but sometimes sleeping is just so much easier...

So, I know I should be sharing Christmas creations right now, but since I've been MIA for the last bit, I still have some Halloween creations that I really want to share... So I hope you won't mind the next few post being Halloween.

Today I'm sharing a Halloween Banner... Signage... that  I created with the stamp sets: Freaky Friends, Ghoulish Greetings and the DSP: Motley Monsters. I created this for the SCT blog, but it wasn't chosen as a featured project. Make sure to click on my pictures for a larger view!

When I first started designing this project, I knew I wanted it to be a greeting decoration/signage, but I also wanted to be able to "gift" it. This meant it needed to fold up to a smaller size, so I could wrap it and so the receiver could also store it nicely when not in use.

Well, this is what I ended up with, so I definitely think I accomplished my criteria.

Once you remove the belly band, my decoration/signage expands to reveal my greeting. Each panel is a tag created with the Tag Topper Scallop Punch, (Love this punch!!!) layered with the DSP.

To spell out my greeting I used the Little Letters Thinlets and framed them in a coordinating coloured circle.

Along with each letter, I added a little freaky friend in the coordinating ink colour.

Underneath my main greeting of "Happy Halloween" I added little sub-greetings with the Ghoulish Greetings stamp set. I used Basic Black cardstock and stamped in Whisper White ink.

To top everything off, I added coordinating Baker's Twine to the top of each tag.

Thanks for stopping in and Happy Creating!
