Freaky Friends

So I was cleaning (that should really read: finding...) my craft table the other day and I kept coming across scrap pieces of DSP.

Over the years, I've tried to have a scrap paper bin handy, but all that left me with was BOXES of scrap paper! So Instead of trying to keep it for later, I've been trying to utilize it right away.

Well I 've recentley been designing projects (can't share yet, but will in october) with the Motley Monstors DSP, so I thought I'd make up some quick little halloween treat packages out of the scraps I was finding. Well I ended up liking them so much that I end up pulling out my DSP and cutting some more out. Lol

These are really simple! They are a piece of 2" x 6" DSP with each end punched out with the tag topper punch. (LOVE this punch!) Then I stamped and punched out images from the Freaky Friends stampset and added a greeting from the Goulish Greetings stampset. To close it up, I curved my DSP and tied the tag topper ends together using either the white or orange portion of the White & Tangerine Tango Two-Tone Trim.

The nice thing about these, is that you can use them with different candies, as it acts like a little belly band and not a package. I'm going to SU event the first week of October and I think I'm going to hand these out as a 3D swap.

Thanks for stopping by and happy creating!
