Bloom with Hope.

I'm so excited to finally have all the colours of Blendabilities. Did you know all of them are available now? Yep! No more waiting for anyone.

I've been playing here and there with my new colours, but nothing major like my pillow swaps! So I decided the other night, that it was time to create an actual card and not just test them out.

My friend Anne was nice enough to let me stamp out a few of the flowers from her hostess stamp set: Bloom with Hope, so I decided to use one of those.
I used my Melon Mambo and Old Olive assortment and coloured my image to have 4 shades... Dark - Medium - Light - and White! I blended my colours to fade out to the white of my paper. I really like this look as it kind of looks like water colouring.

In the center of my flower, I did medium to light to white and then added some texture by polka-dotting with the dark and medium markers. You don't always need to blend!

To finish off my card, I added some coordinating embellishments. I love how my ribbon matches exactly with the colour of my flower! Hmmm... how did I do that? ;)

If you're interested in learning how to colour with these wonderful markers, check out my Blendabilities Course. I'm really looking forward to it starting!

Well have a great day and happy creating as always!
