Candy Flower!

O-mi-goodness! I almost forgot about posting today. I've been away for a girls crafting week-end and I got back last night...exhausted! and oh yea... sorry about yesterday too! ;)

So are you sick of seeing the Fower Patch bundle yet? Only 3 more projects (including todays) and then I promise, I'll take a break from it.

Today, I am sharing my flower treat holder! When I received the Flower Patch bundle, I knew I wanted to make a 3D flower, but I had no idea it would end up as a party favour! But I love it! Can you imagine having a vase of these, at your occasion, and handing them out as thank you's!?! I think that would be so much fun!

I decided to use the Petal flower stamp and framelit for this project as it's proportions coordinated the best with my idea. I found the other cut-outs too small versus the thickness of my stem.

I wanted my flower to have a bit of dimension to it, so I did the same thing I did to my yellow flower card. (cut several flowers and popped them up)

To attach the goody bag, I sandwiched it between my 3D flower and another flower cut-out. To decorate the stem, I stamped and cut out several flower stems and then glued them end to end. I then wrapped it around my candy tube and attached leafs, flowers and tags too.

Make sure to leave a comment on the SCT blog for a chance to win the flower patch bundle and have a great day!

Happy Creating!
