Calling All Heroes!

Happy Canada Day to all of my Canadian friends! Hopefully you are having a wonderful day off, nice weather and maybe even finding time to craft. As for me... I'm back to normal life today after a great long week-end. (My husband's work gave him yesterday off in lieu of today.)

Did you hear the news? STAMPIN' UP! RELEASED THE BLENDABILITIES TODAY!!! How exciting is that!?! Starting today, you can order the Cherry Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Coastal Cabana, Rich Razzleberry, and Skin Tone Assortment of the Blendabilities Markers. You can also order the Momento Ink pad, refill and the colour lifter marker! If you're interested in the markers, make sure to check out my Blendabilities Club. If you're going to purchase them, why not get some free merchandise too! Check out the details HERE and contact me if you're interested in joining!

Today I'm sharing a card created with the New Photopolymer Stamp Set: Calling All Heroes! How cute is this stamp set!?! Last week my friend Marja came to visit and she left it for me to play with! Of course, now I want it, but for now I'll enjoy using hers.

I love how this stamp set is designed with both male and female super heroes in mind! No longer are the super heroes ruled by men! ;)

The stamp set also includes an Alphabet, so you're able to make your own greeting. Whether it be "POW", "ZAP" or "YOU'RE SUPER", the possibilities are endless!

I also like the little dotted stamp image. It really gives that "comic book" feel to it. I have to admit though... that even with my stamp-ma-jig, it was tough to line up! I had to settle with this or else I would've used up a whole pack of Basic Gray cardstock just to get it to line up perfectly.

To finish off my card and to add a little detail, I applied some Crystal Effects to my Super Women's eyes.

Thanks for stopping in and Happy Creating as always!

  1. Great card using this fun stamp set. Love how you put the yellow behind the windows and the eye glasses. I know a lot superheroes who are women - fun to recognize them with cards using these stamps.
