Okay, 2 projects down and 6 to go... and you've stopped by again! I hope you're not sick of seeing the flower patch bundle yet! It is an amazing bundle and I had a ton of fun creating with it.

When I was asked to design 8 projects with the Flower Patch Bundle, I was asked to design for all crafting levels: the beginner, as well as the veterans. This was a little intimidating for me, as let's face it... I don't always keep things simple. Sometimes doing something simple is the biggest challenge of all! Another challenge, is being happy with it... Do you ever get that feeling? If it didn't take a lot of effort then it isn't the best? I'm guilty of this all the time!

Well I'm happy to say that I'm really happy with my clean and simple, yellow flower, card. Okay, it's not completely, a simple, one layer card, but it's close enough.

I love being able to add a little dimension to a simple flat stamp image and the petal flower stamp is PERFECT for doing this. First I stamped my image 4 times. The first flower, I cut out using the coordinating framelit. I cut out the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th flowers with my paper snips, but with each time eliminating more petals. This stamp image is perfect for cutting by hand, as the spaces between the petals make it easy to cut out each flower with an even border (like the framelit does), just use the outer petal as your guideline (does that make sense?) Once everything was cut out, I simply layered everything together with some Stampin' Dimensionals.

To finish everything off, I added a little touch of bling and stamped an envelope to complete the ensemble.

Well... Once again, thank you for stopping by! Don't forget to visit the SCT blog, Stampin' up! Saturday Post and leave a comment, for a chance to win the awesome Flower Patch Bundle. Am I starting to sound like a broken record???

Happy Creating everyone!
