Lovely You!

Hello and happy Friday. Yay, the weekend! How I love the weekend. I'm especially looking forward to this week-end as I'm getting together with a few of my friends and stamping for a good cause. I can't wait!

If you follow me on Facebook (which you really should!), You probably remember me posting this picture of the flower I was working on with my blendabilites. I absolutely LOVE the blendabilities... LOVE THEM!!!

Well today I'm sharing the finished card!

What do you think?

I'll admit that the flower took a crazy amount of time to colour, cut and assemble, but I think the end result was totally worth it!

I coloured it with the Cherry Cobbler, the Pumpkin Pie, and the Daffodil Delight Blendabilities Assortments.

To add extra dimension, I cut out different layers of petals and layered them with Stampin' Dimensionals. I of course, edged all of my cut outs with a basic black marker before assembling.

My flower ended up being eight layers high and used half a sheet of dimensionals! I love it!

To add some leafs to my flower, I used the new In Colour Ribbon: Mossy Meadow, Stitched Satin Ribbon. To get my ribbon to stay pointy, I placed a glue dot inside and stuck the tip together.

The "Lovely You" greeting, is 2 stamps from the great New Photopolymer stamp set: Endless Birthday Wishes. It's a really fun and versatile set!

If you want to get your hands on the Stampin' Up! Blendabilities and live in London, ON or surrounding areas, then make sure you check out my Blendabilites Club! You wont want to miss it!

Have a great week-end and happy creating as usual!
