Do you ever find, that when you have a new toy, you tend to forget about the other ones you own? I've been loving the Occasions Catalogue so much, that I haven't used much of my other stamps lately... so that was my mission! My card today, does still showcase new product from the current Occasion's Catalogue, but also uses product from the main Idea Book & Catalogue.
Take Care came out, I just had to have it! I absolutely love the branch, the nest and the adorable little eggs.
To stamp the branch, I used a Soft Suede and Gumball Green marker and coloured directly onto my stamp. The eggs are stamped in Pool Party ink, cut out and then sponge daubed with Crumb Cake ink.
To make the nest look "ratty" I actually stamped it 3 times. I stamped it in So Saffron, Crumb Cake, and Baked Brown Sugar ink. I did not line them up, in fact, I rotated it each time. I then cut it out and sponge daubed the edges and the image with So Saffron and Crumb Cake ink. Every thing was stamped on Very Vanilla cardstock and my image base was die cut with the Labels Collection Framelits.
The wood background is actually a new stamp from the Occasions Catalogue! It's called "Woodgrain" and I love it! I stamped it on Crumb Cake cardstock in Baked Brown Sugar Ink.
I then accessorized my card with 1-14" Burlap Ribbon, the yummy Natural 5/8" Chevron Ribbon, a Naturals Designer Button and Linen Thread.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great week-end!
