Bunny Banner

So I have to admit that I was really excited to share this project, until I started photographing it...

Why are banners so tough to photograph? I'm still wavering on what photo's to use as I write out this post, maybe I'll just use them all...hmmm (make sure to click on them to enlarge!)

Anyways... Today's project is a little "vintage-y"then I'm use too... well at least for me. I usually do cute and cuddly for easter, but I thought I would try and be different for a change, so here we go...

My banner was started with the help of MDS! It's true! I used My Digital Studio to create a little bunny stencil. I used the download: Chocolate Bunny Stamp Brush, and printed it out in several different sizes, cut him out and Voila! - a stencil!
I sponged daubed my bunny onto pieces of 1-1/4" Burlap Ribbon in Soft Suede ink. I made his fuzzy little tails out of White Bakers Twine. I made smaller banners using the Natural 5/8" Chevron Ribbon. Using a hot glue gun, I folded over the tops of the banners to make a little seam that I could thread my twine through.

I secured my banner spacing and also attached the fun Gold Sequin Trim by using mini clothes pin at the top. The twine and mini clothes pins are actually from the fun Sale-A-Bration Item: Heartfelt Banner Kit.
To finish my banner off, I grouped everything together, on either end, behind Very Vintage Designer Buttons.

Thanks for checking out today's project! I hope you like it! Check out more photo's below.

Don't forget...
Sale-A-Bration ends on Monday. Make sure to place your qualifying order by then!

Have a great week-end and happy creating as always!
