Bunny Bag!

Hello and welcome back from the week-end! Did you get any creative time in? I didn't get much in as I'm feeling a little under the weather, however... I did find my craft desk and craft room floor! Lol I tend to make a mess when I craft...

So... did you know that the Mini Muslin Bags from the Holiday Catalogue carried over to the current Occasions Catalogue? I'm so happy they did, however... I haven't seen too many things done with them since Halloween and Christmas. So, I decided It was time to bring out the Easter in them! Introducing: Mr Bunny treat bag! How cute is he!?!
To make Mr. Bunny, I had to rip open the top 2 seams of my bag.  This made the bag taller for the ears and released the tie rope.

I cut out a "V" shape from the centre, top, of my bag to create the ear shapes.

To fill in the ears and nose, I created stencils out of scrap pieces of cardstock and sponge daubed them in with Blushing Bride and Strawberry Slush Ink. I drew on his mouth with a Basic Black marker. His eyes are Basic Black Candy Dots, which I attached with Tombo adhesive for extra strength.

Then you simply fill him with treats and tie a bow around his ears, using the tie rope! Once I had my bow tied, I tugged and pulled at his ears to position them outwards!

A few tips:

- If you are using the new style of Stampin' Up! ink pads, which are juicer, then give your ink some time to dry... or it will smudge easily

Also...

- Watch how low you place your Bunny's mouth... If you place it too low, it will disappear once you fill the bag.

Thanks for stopping by, enjoy your day, and don't forget: there is only 2 weeks left of Sale-a-Bration!
