A Three in One Card!

MDS, Sale-a-Bration, and Sewing... What more could you ask for in a card? An awesome program, Free Product and working with "In Real Life" product!

Today's card is for those of you who like simple graphic style cards.

I started my card in MDS using the Sweetest Dreams Frameables download. This download is adorable and I can't wait to explore it more. SO many possibilities, I just know it!
I designed my card on an 8 1/2" X 11" page size, allowing me to have 4 copies of it on one sheet (I'm a perfectionist...I start over A LOT). Once printed I trimmed my card front to 3 3/4" X 5".

To make sewing easier, I first pierced in all of the holes I needed, using my Paper-Piercer and Stampin' Pierce Mat. This allows your needle to go through easier and your sewing lines to be more precise (I'm a perfectionist...).

To sew in my shapes, I used the fun, new twine from the Sale-a-Bration catalogue. I used 1/3 of the twine's thickness to sew with...  if you allow your twine to unravel a bit, you'll notice that it separates into 3 strands made of several smaller strands. I used one of those 3 strands. Does that make sense?

I then mounted everything on Smokey Slate and Whisper White cardstock. I really love the simplicity of the graphics along with the detail of the stitching. I hope you like it and that it inspires you to try mixing you're mediums together.

Have a great day and as always... Happy Creating!
