Today's card was created with framelits and punches and came together really quick.
Her beak: Pumpkin Pie cardstock, sponge with Tangerine Tango ink, was created with the Mosaic Punch and trimmed to a point. To create her eyes, I used the circle punch from the Punch Pack and the medium size circles from the Owl Punch.
The base of the card is made from a Note Card, which I shaped with an Oval Framelit. I simply placed the Oval framelit over the fold of the card. I also cut out my DSP with the Oval Framelit.
My greeting is from the stamp set: Delightful Dozen and is stamped on Pistachio Pudding cardstock. I cut it out using a die from the Circle Card Thinlits.
The flower embellishments were punched out of the DSP using the flower punch in the Punch Pack. My ribbon is the Crisp Cantaloupe 3/8" Ruffle Stretch Trim and the "Nest" is created with the 1 1/4" Burlap Ribbon and Linen Thread. To get the ratty nest look, I tied linen thread down the length of my ribbon and then cut and frayed it.
I hope you enjoyed today's card and makes you think of spring... Which in London ON, doesn't seem to be on it's way ANY time soon!
Happy Creating everyone!
