November Paper Pumpkin!

Did you get this month's Paper Pumpkin?

I couldn't wait for it to arrive, as I knew it had something to do with christmas, just by the name of it on my Stampin' Up! order list! I was a little bummed when we didn't get a halloween themed Paper Pumpkin, so I was ecstatic to see a Christmas one!

Well... Here it is! A NOEL Christmas card with star garland and everything! I love the star garland! I wish we could buy it by the roll!

So... How many of you:
1: try to conserve the star garland, by cutting it up and not wrapping it around?
and
2: wondered to yourself, if you could make a similar garland yourself?
Well I did. Cutting up the garland, didn't work well- AT ALL, so I ended up wrapping it around and as much as I would LOVE to be able to sew garland like that, I probably couldn't and don't have time to anyways!

So... As always, I have created another little project for you, that you can do with the supplies of one card! How cute is this little box? I just couldn't resist making a little present!

You can make 2 cards and 2 boxes from this months paper pumpkin! I try to use only what comes in the kit along with a paper trimmer, however I did utilize my 3/4" & 1 3/4" circle punch for the topper, so hopefully you have those on hand.

Below I have include a diagram with some instructions! Click on the picture for a larger view!

Easiest way to break it down, is to cut your card in half @ 2 3/4", Cut 1/4" off the long edge and 1/4" off the short edge and you have the piece you need to make the sides. Feel free to ask any question!

To make the Bow, I simply looped little 2" x 1/4" pieces of card stock and attached them in the centre of my 1 3/4" circle punch. I covered up the centre with a 3/4" circle with a star stamped on it.

I hope you like my little box, have a great day and Happy Creating!
