Letter Trees

Hello and Happy Tuesday! Do you know what I like best about after Halloween? That you can do all the christmas crafting you want!

So have you seen the muslin bags that are in the Holiday Catalogue? I have seen so many creative idea's done with these, that I just couldn't resist getting a pack.

I kept my first attempt with them simple. My bags are no where as amazing as the ones I have seen, but I like the simplicity and cuteness of them.

I used the stencils from the Build-a-Banner Kit and sponged daubed the letters in Gumball Green Ink. (I placed a sheet of card stock inside the bag, just incase the ink soaked through to the back. The ink never reached the paper but I still would recommend it... just incase.)

The star and tree stump are made out of card stock. For the star I used Daffodil Delight card stock and Crushed Curry Ink and for the stump I used Soft Suede card stock and ink. I crumpled and re-daubed them with ink for the textured look. I attached them and the Candy Dots with tom-bo glue. DEFINITELY have a your sheet of card stock in between!

I thought these would make cute little christmas goodie bags for the kids, I just might make some for all the little kiddies in my life!

Have a great day and Happy (Christmas) Creating!
