Last week-end, I had a chance to stamp all day with a great group of friends! The 7 of us did a shoe box swap: each person creates a project and then puts all the materials and supplies in a box for the others to create! It was a lot of fun and I loved all the different projects.
On the drive to my friends house, a few of us were talking about mailing and receiving cards. I had to admit that even though I make lots of cards, I very seldom mail any. But apparently I'm not the only one. Two of my friends had already challenged each other to send more cards and invited me to participate. So of course I'm on board!!!
Today's card features the cute little stamp set: Perfect Blend. (I don't actually like coffee, but I have so many friends that "depend" on it (Lol) that I couldn't resist adding it to my collection.)
I made my card to look plain at first sight, as it has a little surprise that I wanted to really emphasize when they reveal it!
They pull on the ribbon...
"Coffee & Friends are the Perfect Blend"
How fun is that!?!
I learned this cute little technique at convention! It uses one of the frames from the Peek-a-Boo Die, an extra fold and 1 other piece of card stock and Voila!
My "Hi" greeting is from the Label Card Thinlits Dies and my little heart is from the owl punch. Of course I had to use the stamp set: Gorgeous Grunge. The DSP is Season of Style and I used linen thread and the 7/16" Natural Trim Ribbon.
