Allow me to introduce you to: Mr. Pumpkin, Franky and My Mummy! I created these guys using the build a banner kit! (Actually... the refill kit! + spritzers)
For Mr. Pumpkin and Frankie. I spritzed their main colour first. I used approx. 20-23 drops of re-inker in rubbing alcohol. I used the rubbing alcohol because it dries a lot faster. (well technically evaporates, which is really the important part.) When spritzing the whole banner with colour, it starts to curl and roll up. With using the rubbing alcohol, I'm able to press it under something heavy and still have it dry.
All details, were then added with daubers, inks and some homemade templates!
For some extra little details, I added a paper leaf and curly cue to Mr. Pumpkin, paper bolts and actual stitching to Frankie, and burlap to my Mummy!
Now for my other exciting news... I'm offering this as class! Come on out and create your own Mr. Pumpkin, Frankie and Mummy!
