Bundle of Joy!

Hello and welcome back! Today I am sharing with you, baby thank-you's that I made for an old co-worker! Her little one is due at the end of the month and I'm so excited for her!

Thank-you's are such a daunting task, especially if you have a big shower or lots of family. So I like to make up a little gift to help. I put together a little package that contains 20 cards, envelopes and postage stamps!
They don't know if they are having a boy or a girl (Fun!) So I had to make my Thank-you's neutral. I found this to be a challenge, as I'm use to making gender specific baby cards. Did I do okay or are they TOO neutral?

My card is a bit of new and a bit of old! I hope you don't mind. I don't part with my stamps easily, even when they retire and I'm glad I don't.
This adorable bear is from the old stamp set: Bundle of Joy, and my greeting is from an old hostess set: Kind and Caring Thoughts. The greeting and bear were stamped on Crumb Cake card stock with Early Espresso Ink. Then I coloured the bear with Bake Brown Sugar and Crumb Cake.  The heart is punched out of Real Red Core'dinations card stock. I also used Soft Suede and Naturals Ivory card stock. Last but not least I used the new and wonderful: 1 1/4" Burlap Ribbon! Love this stuff!

I hope you're having a good week so far, and Happy Creating, as always!

  1. very delightful thank you cards; I'm sure whomever gets this as a gift or receives 1 in the mail, they'll be extra thankful....you work is over the top!!
