Good morning and happy Monday!
I'm not quite sure how this post is going to turn out, as I'm out of town, without my laptop and doing this with my phone. So I apologize in advance if my photo is huge and jetting off the screen. As soon as I get home, I'll fix it on my computer.
Anyways... On to today's card. Here is a Birthday card that I created using the stamp set: Happy Hour. I love this set as it is so versatile!
My Father in Law drinks Crantini's, (is that an actually drink name or a nickname?) so I tried to make the drinks on his card to look like them. There are always cranberries in the bottom of his drink, so to give that illusion, I used a cherry cobbler marker, and coloured just the bottom of the drink on my stamp. Then I took a blender pen and blended the colour out to the top of the glass, made little dots in the red, and stamped! I think it turned out well.
To give the drinks a little more pop, I glossed them up with Crystal Effects!
I also used the stamp set: Gorgeous Grunge, Washi Tape, Rhinestones, and the arrow clip from Hung Up Cute Clips accessories.
Thanks for stopping by and happy creating.
