Tag It!

Another stamp set that I received at convention was Tag it! This is a cute little stamp set! It co-ordinates with the Chalk Talk Framelits and it just happens to be this year's Ronald McDonald House Charities Stamp set! $3 from every stamp set sold, is donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities!

Isn't this little santa adorable? I just couldn't resist stamping him first. I stamped him 4X. First in Crumb Cake for his greeting/base and 3X
in Real Red for him. For the ones I stamped in red, I cut out his legs and feet and glues them down on my crumb cake base. Then I cut out his jacket (nice and neat) and head (roughly) and popped it up with dimensionals. Then last but not least I cut out Santa's head and popped it with dimensionals as well! I think it's a nice effect the gives the card a little more depth!

This wasn't the original layout I had in mind for this card!  I played and played with my idea and then the components just slowly migrated to where they are now. When my card was completed, I realized I used the same layout as my last 2 cards!!! I guess, I really like this lay-out! I'm so sorry!

A few other items my card uses:
* 3/4" Chevron Ribbon (LOVE THIS STUFF)
* 7/16" Natural Trim
* Chalk Talk Framelits
* Woodgrain Embossing Folder
* Rhinstone
* 1-1/4 Burlap Ribbon

Have a great day!

  2. Martha, How did you do your shadowing, on the stamp or on the stamped image? Darling card!

    1. Hi Julie! I did the shadowing on the stamped image with the co-ordnating marker. Hope that helps! Happy Creating!
