Choo Choo! Look Who's Turning 2!
So in preparation for his big day, I decided to venture into my craft room and pull out some of my stamping stuff to make his invitations.
I would have loved to use stuff from Stampin' Up's newest catalogue, but unfortunately.... Ssssshhhhh....
I haven't bought anything yet! WHAT!?! I know, I know, I'm crazy. But my husband and I are working on a few goals that mean more to me then stamping items, right now. But don't you worry, I'll be ordering something in the next month or so. But for now, hopefully you'll enjoy a blast from the past.
For his birthday we are taking our son to "A Day out with Thomas", where he will actually get to ride on Thomas the Train! He's going to love it. I'm excited to see his reaction! So in keeping with that theme, I decide to put a train on his invitations. Luckily I had this oldie stamp set kicking around. Did I mention that I'm a hobby demonstrator? That means 1- I'm my own best customer and 2 - I don't get rid of my stamp sets right away once they retire! This one is from 2006 and is called Circus Train. I stamped the image in black stazon ink and then used markers and blender pens to colour it in. I kept the card pretty simple! (I had to make sure I could complete them... before his birthday!) I hope you like. Thanks for stopping by and happy creating!
